I regularly look for clever or unique presents for Christmas. However, if anybody out there believes that shopping for personalized gifts is like buying average gifts, do please think again. Think hard and think long.

I recently purchased one of these, I won’t mention the site because I’m an embroidery digitizer. I make products that the personalized gift vendors sell and incredibly, ! But this company that I found with a search, were quick to take my money , but satisfaction was not their strong point. Only later did I discover that many people complained, but since I didn’t search for the online reputation of the company, I didn’t find out until it was too late. It was a hard lesson to learn…my advice is to take advice on whom to do business from your friends. It’s only your friends who have no vested interest in the decisions you make. Anyways, I digress… The item I purchased was custom made and not only do you need to order these products wayy in advance, some of these people (and I use that temr loosely) they really give you a hard time when there’s a defect. So, be very cautious about… 1. Give out the exact spelling right from the start and 2. Order in advance so that a mistate can be fixed. Oh!..one more.. 3. Call customer service with a question BEFORE you order. Good luck!
